Traffic Management 101 Webinar Series

ARRB is running a series of training webinars covering the fundamentals of Traffic Management – starting 5 April.  It introduces the concepts and principles underlying the practice of Traffic Management in Australia and New Zealand – how we manage the road network to provide service to all road users.

If you are starting out in local government, a road agency or in a Traffic Management consulting role, this is the course that will give you the fundamental understanding to progress confidently in your role and know where and how to seek out more knowledge.

The course consists of 8 weekly live webinar sessions. Sessions are also recorded and recordings are provided immediately following the session for those who perhaps can’t make it to every session. Each session has a component to be completed back in the workplace and this may involve a short quiz, activities, reading materials and participation in discussion boards online.

Presenting this webinar is David Nash – Principal at Traffinity and Secretary of ITEANZ. David will be joined by guest presenters throughout the series drawing on expertise in road agencies on the various topics.  He has over 30 years of experience with VicRoads and its predecessors, specialising in traffic engineering, traffic management and road safety.
