ITE believes that differences in background and experience enrich the culture and experiences of ITE for our membership as they do for the communities in which we live and work. On this 20th anniversary of National Reconciliation Week, ITEANZ would like to encourage our members to take some action to “make reconciliation more than a word”. If we are better informed, we can contribute to the development of a just, equitable and reconciled country through our lives and work.
To help us, Reconciliation Australia has compiled a list of “20 actions for reconciliation” to demonstrate how to move from safer to braver. We encourage you to choose something from the list. You are welcome to share your choice or your reflection.
