James Wylie President |
Hi, I’m James and I’m a fourth year undergraduate Civil Engineering student, expecting to finish my studies in late 2027. I currently work at Mornington Peninsula Shire as an Undergraduate Engineering Officer, and I have a great passion for public transport and micromobility. Having taken the office of President of TEM, I aim to connect students with industry professionals through our mentoring program and collaborative events with our industry sponsors. I also hope to foster a community centred around the recently introduced Transport minor at Monash University, so that TEM can continue on strong for years to come. |

Alan Dang Vice President |
Hi, I’m Alan, currently in my penultimate year as a civil engineering student. My aim for the club is to provide more awareness of transport industry within the student body, and to provide more opportunities for those who are already interested. I would have appreciated a stronger transport industry presence earlier in my degree, hence why I want to spread the word about our club. |

Julia Lao Secretary |
Hello, I’m Julia! I’m entering my second year of my undergraduate engineering degree at Monash and I’m looking to specialise in civil engineering with a minor in transport engineering. I’ve been fascinated by how much public transport can shape our livelihoods and the complex logistics needed to run it daily. After learning more about transport around the world, I want to take this interest a step further through my degree and TEM. As secretary, I hope to keep TEM running smoothly while I gain valuable experiences in its events and networking opportunities. |

Brandon Sam Mentoring Program Coordinator |
Hi, I’m Brandon and I’m a third year Civil Engineering student at Monash University. I first developed my interest in transport engineering after taking my first transport engineering unit, which led me to join TEM’s mentoring program. I found it a great way to learn from people already working in the industry. After such a positive experience, I decided to join the committee as a Mentoring Program Coordinator. I hope to help more students connect with industry professionals, explore the different paths in transport, and build meaningful connections for their future careers. |

I also aim to build connections and partnerships with the other members of TEM, ITE, and other relevant societies and sponsors. |
