The 2016 President’s Dinner was held on Tuesday 15 November at Kew Golf Club.
Special guest speaker, Michel Masson – CEO of Infrastructure Victoria, gave a compelling address. He emphasised the independence of IV and the need for rational infrastructure planning. Infrastructure Victoria has been given the important task of developing the first ever statewide infrastructure strategy. The strategy will cover nine sectors, including transport, and will provide recommendations which seek to improve connectivity and accessibility, reduce congestion, and support economic growth.
Michel provided an insight into the community consultation, citizen juries and expert input that has contributed to the development of the strategy.
A number of ITEANZ awards were presented during the evening.
The Dinner was proudly sponsored by SIDRA SOLUTIONS.
This was a great opportunity to socialise with colleagues over a delightful meal.
