The Sustainable Engineering Society (SENG), a technical society of Engineers Australia, will be holding its biennial national conference in Melbourne on the 18th and 19th of October 2017.
The organising committee is now inviting organisations with expertise in relevant subject areas, to consider participating in the conference.
The title of the conference is ‘Engineering Sustainable Cities’. The conference will run for a day and a half. The venue will be the new Engineers Australia Innovation Hub, level 31, 600 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
The conference will focus on urban and regional sustainability and be structured around two parallel streams with the following themes:
- Sustainable Infrastructure for a net-zero GHG economy.
- Resilience and community capacity building.
Presenters will have the option of basing their presentation on either:
- An accepted abstract followed by a full peer reviewed paper for subsequent publication; or
- An accepted abstract only.
