University of Canterbury Student Chapter

First Seminar at University of Canterbury

A very successful Transport Career Seminar was held at UC on Friday the 4th of Oct., 2019.  UC Transport organised a Transport career seminar  to shed some light on the rewards and challenges of transport careers. Two transport experts shared their experience and talked to our students: Mike Tottman, the Engineering and Survey Manager at Harrison Grierson in Christchurch, and Grace Ryan, a chartered Transport Engineer who works at GHD, and has eight years of broad transport experience. Mike and Grace talked about their transport projects and shared some advice to the next generation of transport engineers. This event was a success, and everyone had enjoyed the presentations.

A big thank you to the ITE-ANZ for supporting this event.
