In February 2016, the New Zealand Ministry of Transport and ITS New Zealand hosted Dr Peter Sweatman of CAVita (www.cavitatrans.com), an international expert on driverless and autonomous vehicles.  The presentations held in Wellington and Auckland attracted over 220 attendees and Dr Sweatman also generated significant media interest from local journalists keen to understand the exciting emerging technology of driverless cars.
