2026 TPA National Transport Conference

This year six students from around Australia and New Zealand were awarded grants to attend the 2026 TPA National Conference in Brisbane, courtesy of the Worldwide Learning Opportunities program sponsored by Austraffic.  The grants covered their registration, airfares and accommodation.

Key themes of the Conference were people-centred and inclusive transport planning, responsible use of AI, stronger professional networks, and new research and career opportunities. Participants left motivated to support safer, healthier and more sustainable transport systems.

The six students were Maeve Burchell Univ of Adelaide, Yunlong Wang of Univ of Auckland,
Chloe Liu of La Trobe Univ, Anthony Lau of Univ Tech Syd, Simon Weng of Univ Sth Qld and  Lirui Guo of Monash Univ.
