Student Chapters
Student Chapters have been active in a number of
Universities around Australia. They serve to promote interest in
Transportation among undergraduates and encourage membership of the
ITE.
Benefits
- Professional development and networking;
- Becoming part of (and availing oneself of) a world-wide network of transportation professionals;
- The opportunity to seek understanding of sub-disciplines within the transportation field;
- Subscription to ITE Journal; and
- Support from ITE Australia and New Zealand Section.
Recent successful events in Australia have included industry nights and BBQs.
Student dues are US$10 per annum with the first year's membership free (as at June 2006).
